PT Kilang Pertamina Internasional (KPI) dedication in meeting the needs of vulnerable groups including children. The program continues through the sustainability of the flagship program entitled "Posyandu Sehati".

"The Posyandu Sehati program is presented by KPI to provide health services. In an integrated manner, this program has been implemented in KPI's operational unit areas including Dumai, Sei Pakning, Plaju and Balikpapan," said KPI Corporate Secretary Hermansyah Y Nasroen.

Hermansyah explained that Posyandu Sehati is one of KPI's flagship programs that has been running since 2022.

"KPI always ensures that the programs we design have real outcomes. Indonesian children are valuable assets for the country as the next generation of the nation. For example, Posyandu Sehati in Dumai currently has 65 local cadres in the Tanjung Mukti and Tanjung Palas Sub-districts. This means that we are producing local heroes who have capabilities in the health sector and provide the best services for children," explained Hermansyah.

Furthermore, Hermansyah Y Nasroen said that there are three main focuses of the Posyandu Sehati program in Dumai.

"The first is increasing the capacity of Posyandu cadres through training in a variety of nutritious additional food menus. In addition, there is also baby massage training to support baby health. And the last is the implementation of a sustainable food house area," explained Hermansyah.

Not only in Dumai, the Posyandu program in Sei Pakning has also shown progress. In fact, through the development of Posyandu cadre entrepreneurship and the cultivation of family medicinal plants, Posyandu Sei Pakning has also succeeded in diversifying its herbal medicine product business.

"The marketing of this herbal medicine product was initially in the local market of Bengkalis Regency, now it has succeeded in Pekanbaru, Dumai, and Java Island," said Hermansyah.

According to Hermansyah, the implementation of these programs is designed to target the focuses of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

"On average, one of our programs is related to several SDGs. For example, for the Posyandu Sehati program, in addition to answering the challenge of SDGs Number 3 "Good Health and Well-Being", it is also related to SDGs number 2 "Zero Hunger" through the provision of nutritious food and number 5 "Gender Equality" for the empowerment of medical cadres including female cadres," said Hermansyah.

The alignment of the CSR program with the SDGs elements expressed by Hermansyah is directly proportional to the achievement of the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) KPI Score. Currently, the ESG KPI score position is 24.2 which is classified as Medium Risk through the Sustainalytics rating agency.

"A proud predicate because it shows that KPI has implemented company management according to ESG standards," concluded Hermansyah.
